How do you really feel about Climate Change?

So far, the data reveals -

84%

explicitly say that they should personally be doing more to stop climate change,

but only

 

20%

implicitly feel that they should be doing more.

This means that what people say and how they feel are at odds, suggesting that many people are in denial about the truth. This disparity is what we call cognitive dissonance.

This highlights a need for business and government to take the choice out of adopting sustainable practice, because if the choice remains, human nature will drive people to further confirm their bias - either consciously or unconsciously - towards believing that they are doing enough because that is the easier option.

This assessment captures both Implicit responses (your instinctive, nonconscious, gut responses) as well as your Explicit responses (your considered, conscious responses). We then compare the two.
